Yabba Dabba Dooooo!
The family room carpet looks awesome!!! Double digit, awe inspiring awesomely clean! I will have to take the samples back to the carpet place now and tell them I changed my mind. I just saved $1100.00 that we didn’t have. Oh the joy!
AND … that isn’t all … !!! My favorite lazy-boy recliner is clean too! The one hidden from the main flow of company because it looked so bad but is so comfortable I can’t part with it.
The carpet is so clean that now I’ve got to paint the walls! Gotta pick out some paint with a bit of that money we saved. Hubby slipped and told me a day or two ago that if we didn’t get the new carpet we’d put the money in a home improvement fund and ya think I’m going to let him forget that?
I prayed about this carpet. I prayed I would be able to get it clean enough I would be satisfied. After at least forty hours of me trying to clean it. I’d about decided the answer was, “You need to learn to endure”. Thank you, God, for clean carpet. Clean enough for grandbaby feet!
Thank you Bryce Hunt for bringing that awesome cleaning machine over and making it happen.
It was just one of those really fun mornings!

That is awesome! What kind of carpet cleaner was it? After all Kai has put our carpet through we need it!
It was a $2,000 machine for just part of it. He got it on ebay. It was amazing. Probably similar to other commercial cleans but I didn’t think that carpet would ever look good again.
We faced the same thing a while back. Our kitty had an accident (or a bad attitude while we were out of town) and used the corner of our carpeted family room to go potty.
Worked and worked to get the odor out without it budging. Went to shop for new carpet to replace perfectly looking 3 year old carpet. The price tag for our large family room was going to be nearly two grand!
We decided it was worth trying more products and another good carpet cleaning machine. Thankfully, we finally got rid of the odor. So…..I understand the joy you are feeling of the savings!
Good for you.
What happened to your carpet? Or was it just that you didn’t like how dirty it was in general?
