Visiting at Warren & Sandi’s

I got the bigElfie and Sandigest kick out of Warren and Sandi’s cat, who is the spitting image of our cat, FiFi … except for the fact that FiFi has a flat face because she is half Persian.   Elfie is a year old and although she looks full grown she has the mind set of a very playful child.    She is one of the few cats I know who actually plays “Fetch” like a dog.   She has a stool at their kitchenSeattle Sept 2008 021 bar so she can watch Sandi fix meals.     She loves sitting on her stool watching her human play with her food.    If you are a germ phobic you needn’t be.  Elfie is very good at watching and Sandi is a very clean housekeeper.

Aubree, our oldest grandchild, is soon to be 17.  VisAugs and Lucaiting with her is fun because she has so much going she has so many exciting things going on in her life.    I can’t wait until Lynn and I can both come for a longer visit and spend a lot of time with Warren’s three teenagers.

Mikayla and LucaThe younger kids can’t get enough of their older cousins.   Mikayla is going to be 13 in another couple of months.   They moved to Washington when she was three years old and a total Grandma’s girl.   Thank goodness she still is.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              … Seattle Sept 2008 039 Out of 17 grand children there are only four boys and they have to stick together, which is easy to do because they are all alike.    This is Curtis, almost 15 (notice how I am playing into their desires to be a little older) and his cousin,Lincoln, who is 5.    They are both computer game nuts.  Well, actually they are both just plain nuts and we love them for their funny ways.   What one of these two doesn’t think up, the other one does.

Seattle Sept 2008 040 It seems like my time spent with Warren and Sandi and their kids went way too fast.   We will be back, though, as soon as Grandpa retires.   Good thing they are moving into a bigger home with a nice guest room so we don’t have to boot Curtis out of his room each time we visit.   Thanks, Curty!   (Notice Anna who loves having her picture taken snuck into this family picture.)

  3. What a great picture of Warren and Sandi’s family. I just can’t stop laughing at my goofy Anna Lynn for sneaking into their picture. I love her huge grin. We had a lot of fun in Marysville and Lake Stevens today.

  4. What a cute family! Thanks for posting their pictures – I haven’t seen them for far too many years.
