The "Vacationer"
In three weeks this little beauty is going to come live with us. We’ve been looking at motor homes for a while now and found this one today in Las Vegas. It is a 1999, but absolutely immaculate inside … like new immaculate. The outside also looks good and all of the things are working well. We are so excited for Lynn’s retirement in two more weeks so we can take it up to Washington for several months. Then we will officially be “snow birds”. Winters here in Southern Utah are wonderful … so you know where we’ll be then!
We were looking at all sizes … some with pull outs, some with beds over the cab of the truck … but we absolutely fell in love with this one as soon as we stepped inside. It has so many great features and really does look as god as new. It is the oldest we saw (all used) and by far been kept up the best. This one doesn’t have pull outs but seems plenty roomy.
Look at the leather on those chairs … not a mark on them! I’m telling you this is CLEAN!
There is a comfy queen sized bed in the back. Nice closet space and drawers. It also has a nice sized shower and bathroom.
When we aren’t in Washington this is going to be my writing get away … I’m pretty excited about that too. For that reason only it is well worth the investment! I need a lot of quiet to finish editing my books and I have the 3rd one in mind now so need to start getting it down!

I officially hate you. I will still read you because I like to travel vicariously.
Have you read the book: Live Your Road Trip Dream? I reviewed it here: http://tinyurl.com/baksbs
You will have SO much fun!
What’s her name?
Looks great! I’m so happy for you both. Have fun! Drive carefully! Keep in touch ….. hehe
Looks nice! Now you just need a good 3G data plan on your cell phone for Internet!
I’m not sure on her name … maybe Nel or Nellie or The Nellster after the main character of my first book … or something clever I haven’t thought of yet.
Too crazy! My great aunt and uncle sold their house when I was 10 or 12 and bought a huge one of these. They drove it every year in a large circle spending their winters in Florida with one daughter and their summers in Washington with the other.
I don’t think I could ever drive one. too scary!
We haven’t sold our house! Yet! But, who knows what the future holds?
Hi all.. So happy for you. Although you stink for not coming to see us!
We love our motorhome! You will too. Yours Is really great!! We leave ours parked up at Alamo Lake all the time and go up when we can..
HI all you “henke” kids from Johnnie & Carol Watson
If it was just for Jody and I, we could have gotten by with no slides in our RV. In fact, our first RV didn’t have any slides. First camping trip made us realize the mistake. Way too cramped – especially when it is raining and you are forced to stay inside.
But for the two of you, it should be great!
[...] – especially empty nester Boomers are spending money. Grandma Henke and Lynn will be hitting the road in a wild party bus. The Retired One has the returning home blues. Rhea took a trip to Texas a month [...]
This is fantastic!!!
