"that’s enough to curl your hair!"
My mother used to say “That’s enough to curl your hair” when she heard someone let loose with a bad word or saw too much skin in a movie, or probably whenever she saw someone who might be breaking one of the Ten Commandments. Anything a little unsavory was always “enough to curl your hair”.
Now I am just befuddled, as you can see by this picture of me hard at work blogging. I find myself the center of a mystery.
All my life I’ve have had pretty straight hair other than a teeny bit of a wave at the bottom in the back. I’ve grown accustomed to it and figured out how to fix it to what I hope is flattering. All of a sudden my hair is getting curlier and curlier. By all of a sudden, I mean within a two year time frame it has gone from straight to fairly curly. My hair dresser (I say that tongue in cheek because I only go every couple of months or so to get a hair trim … which hardly qualifies as hair dressing) tells me I am the only person she has done regularly that this has happened to.
Thus the mystery … what in the world have I been doing that is “enough to curl my hair?”
Perhaps my stories are a little to risque? Maybe I have said heck or darn a few times too many? Maybe I have listened to too many campaign speeches? Maybe I have seen too many skimpy costumes on Dancing With The Stars? Perhaps I’ve read too many of Mark’s blogs? Who knows? But it is definitely a strange phenomenon.

Perhaps it has been your flying back and forth to Seattle since you retired? You enjoy flying so much
How random and funny! If you figure out the secret will you tell me so I can share it with my mom? She has super straight hair (which I have never seen) and perms it all the time. She’d love this!
