Old Words, New Meanings

Anna:    “Grandma, what are you doing?”  

Me:      “I’m crocheting.”

Anna:    “Are you making something?”

Me:       “I’m making booties.”

Anna:    “Mom, Grandma said ‘booties’.”   (This followed by hysterical laughter.

  1. Yeah old words with new meanings are funny. Get a picture of this: I wear my ‘thongs’ around the house all day. Now that could be followed by a lot of ‘gay’ laughter. aahh old words new meanings are funny!
