Nov. 6, 2009 Has Been Another Awesome Day!
This is a view of where our RV is parked here in Crescent City. We are by a beautiful little bay and can see it from the windows of our motor home. The seagulls are lined up all along this little pathway hoping we have brought a picnic to share.
To the right is this view of a light house. Behind that long barrier is a demonstrative ocean …
The waves were broiling and thrashing and then they would hit the wall and splash high into the sky.
If you looked straight up this is what you would see
Next we ventured into the majestic Redwoods … Their stately trunks stand as straight as proud soldiers on parade.
And they have every right to be proud! They are tall and mighty … The setting is reverent and peaceful.
It’s hard to get the perspective of the large trees but maybe this helps with our car parked near by. Lynn took better pictures with his camera … maybe I’ll sneak some over here tomorrow.
So many things to be grateful for today:
1. Eyes to see and ears to hear the beauties of nature today
2. So grateful to know of God. The energy of the ocean and the timelessness of the Redwoods whisper of His love for me.
3. I’m grateful that the food we got at KFC wasn’t very appetizing so I didn’t break my diet!

You may find this hard to believe but Hubby asked me why he wasn’t seeing Grandma Henke’s name in my comments lately. I explained that you and your husband were playing and traveling too much in that new RV for you to have much time to visit blogs. Then we went into a discussion about bloggers who suddenly stop blogging and how do you know what happens to them. So I told him I keep stopping by and reading yours on a regular basis so I know you’re still alive and kicking and writing. And doing wonderful from all indications. You two took to Rving like a duck to water.
