My Name is Edna and I’m a Projaholic …

It’s a sad thing when you get phone calls and emails asking if you are okay because you have neglected your blog.     Much longer and I would be at risk of having my blog put in a foster home.  It just seems like there are so many things to do lately … that aren’t necessarily interesting to write about.

How much can you say about crocheting?   I’ve taken to crocheting in the evening when Lynn is relaxing at the television … where I used to play with my computer and do my writing.     The problem is you can’t  blog and crochet at the same time … they aren’t multi-task compatible.   They both require the use of your hands and fingers. I have a box full of booties ready to donate to the Humanitarian Project and am more than half way through with an afghan for baby Olivia.   I have also whipped up numerous dish cloths and am reading the directions carefully on how to make little doll clothes and bassinets.

I also find now that I can’t go into a store without browsing the yarn aisles.   I have a plethora of bins full of colors to prove it.   I’m going to have to join Yarns Anonymous.   It’s almost that bad.    I have projects in mind for every single skein but I also have a few bins of multi colored material … the kind you sew with … that I have projects in mind for too.    Not only that, I just ordered 5 projects for our Relief Society Super Tuesday that I couldn’t attend … so they are staring me in the face, too.

Okay … My name is Edna and I am a Projaholic … but boy am I having fun!

  1. At least we know you are alright …..lol

  2. I used to love to crochet. My Aunt Mary painstakingly taught me everything I knew and over the years I have forgotten how to do all of it. I need to pick that back up.

If it’s alright, I’ve linked you to one of my new blogs Mormon Bloggers Speak Out (http://mormonbloggers.blogspot.com). It is a blog which I created to share with the world what Mormons are like in our many facets. What we believe, what we do, how we play, what we do for fun, our thoughts on family, Church, Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, life, standing for truth and righteousness, missionary work, doctrine, our countries, etc.

Someone told me you were LDS, so I hope it’s okay. Thanks.

  3. You ARE a projaholic! I fall into that at times too. I get caught up in something and go gung ho until I get tired of it. (like canning this month) I think it is great that you have made so many booties for the humanitarian project.
