More Things I Have Enjoyed …
This is looking down the street of the little town we’re in, Ocean Park.
We’re staying at Ocean Park RV Resort. It has a heated pool, spa, recreation building, full hookups,Internet and TV. And it’s reasonably priced! It’s secluded and quiet and we love it.
We ran into Santa Clause on the beach feeding the seagulls. He told us there is a place in Astoria where you can buy a stuffed grocery bag of old bread for $2.00 so we’re going to get some!
I saw more of this guy than I wanted to. He changed out of his wet suit right in front of our car! He did have a tiny towel but really!
.
Could there be a better end to a perfect day?

A close up view of nature through a nearly naked man and a nature induced sunset! Both only available sometimes: in serendipitous moments (!) and to the privileged (?) few. Your choice. I’d go for the latter, but you–two in one day!?
that sounds pretty stupid, but there was a thought there somewhere!!!!
So while in Astoria, did you and uncle Lynn follow the trail where the Goonies was filmed and find any Pirate Treasure and One Eyed Willies Ship?
Alice, I have to agree … two events like that in one day is worth writing down. Dave, sorry to say I had no idea there was even a Goonies movie, let alone that it was filmed in Astoria. Uncle Lynn can be a Goonie at times, though, and I follow his trail all the time but have not found any pirate treasure or One Eyed Willies Ship.
I knew that it might be something that you did not know about, but Warren or Angie may have and some of the older cousins and it would have been funny to them maybe! If anything, I’m a complete Goonie for writing it!! I love to read your blog though and some of your posts have helped me a lot in recent times. Thank you and one day when your back in St. George and if Amy and I are around, we’d love to come and visit.
