Life’s Lessons
This week we’ve been looking for learning opportunities in life … Here are a couple of them:
Many people drive their cars along the beach but they follow the sand that has been hardened by the water … Every now and then we see this. They are stuck. They ignored the warning signs and took off across the deep sand. Then, instead of asking for help to get out they dug themselves in deeper and deeper. Finally four big guys came up from the beach and lifted them out and pushed them to where they could drive safely. We came up with several ways this could be used to teach. What would you come up with?
This was a big storm cloud that formed out a ways on the ocean. It was cool watching it form. It took less than an hour to go from a mostly clear sky to a dark, angry one with no sunlight showing through at all.
We didn’t give up, though. We stayed long enough to see this happen and it was so beautiful when the sun broke through and the black clouded lifted. What do you think? What would be the lesson here?

Stay the Course and always heed the warning signs, because they’re there for a reason. That’s what I get from it. Thanks Aunt Edna, that was inspirational.
I think this could mean to stay on the straight and narrow path and do not let inviting distractions cause you to go off course. These are beautiful pictures. Great learning lessons. Miss you.
