Kingsburg, California
The last place we stayed … before Bakersfield …was in Kingsburg, CA at a beautiful resort that was wrapped around a small lake full of ducks, geese, swans, … and yes … Storks! There was a huge tree to the side of it that must have been a condomindium for the smaller birds and it sounded like they were all very happy!
We only stayed there one night but we both agreed it would be a very peaceful place for snowbirds to go in the winter and it looked like there were a few settled in already. We find such nice people wherever we go!
Oh, my gosh! This is where my father’s parents and brother lived. We used to go here every year on vacation in the summer. I spent many years wandering around the peach orchards and with my cousin who loved horses. This is so cool. Hope to see you soon. Miss you.
Now Edna has finally seen a Stork so hopefully she won;t keep calling Pelicans Storks !!!!
