Grandma Henke

Quite a few years ago our sons were helping Lynn take out a hall wall so we could make it wider … the other side of that wall is in the garage.   It was a big family affair and you know how brothers are … they started getting some crazy ideas and challenging each other to try crazy things.  I can’t remember who came up with the idea but Warren decided to slam his head into the wall board and see what happened.

This picture of him looking through the hole  is not how it actually ended up … smiling I mean.  He almost knocked himself out and we had to wait for the birdies and stars to go away before we could get the second picture.   Just so you know, his head didn’t go entirely through and make this big hole … it had a bend and a crack and the hole had to be enlarged considerably to fit his head through.   Brett, who is on the bottom, didn’t make his hole with his head, he always looked kind of cuckoo when we took photos back then..    It was a bad idea all around as we lost one of our main helpers for the rest of the day.    He had a massive headache.
