hOW dO yOU sAY mOVING dAY?

Yesterday I went with Brett & Kim & children to Lake Stevens to help Warren and his family move into their new home.    On almost anyone’s list of fun things to do, “Moving Day” is probably close to the bottom in respect to the work involved.    What a job!   And Warren’s new house is three floors … count them … THREE!

One of the top priorities, of course, was to get the big media room on the second floor up and running.   This shows three of the five computer stations … one for each member of this family.   At the other end of this room sits a beautiful bay window, a built in television, a love sack, and two rocking chairs.   I think this will probably be one of the most used rooms of the house.

Little Kai made good use of the love sack, as you can see.     It was my lucky responsibility to tend the baby and keep him out of harms way … I mean after all … somebody had to do it, right?

Kim, Mikayla, and Luca  set to work on getting Mikayla’s bedroom set Seattle Sept 2008 011up  … it looks like Anna has already put the bed to good use even without the benefit of the mattresses!  Five bedrooms in this house, which means there is a spare one on the 1st level for people who come to visit … like you know who and who.

The house is big enough they can find a place for everything … but there was one surprise box that they don’t remember packing … I think this set of priceless action figures needs a padded, sound proof room of their own.

Aubree’s room was completely set up, including the bed made with sheets and knick knacks carefully placed, before we left to head back to Auburn.
