Flying Home
The time went by way too fast and here I am packing up my bags to go home after three fun weeks with the Washington half of the family. It doesn’t matter how long we stay there is never enough time. This morning started with snuggle bunnies crawling into my bed, one at a time … I will miss that a lot! It doesn’t seem all that long ago that Aubree, who is going to turn 16 the day after Christmas, was tiny and snuggly and now she’s driving a car.
Time is a crazy fellow … you wait and wait and then it’s past … then you wait and wait again.
It will be good to see the rest of the family in Utah. I hear Christmas is coming there too.

hello, I was wondering if we were related? my father was born in Yakima and grew up in deer island Oregon. thanks, Charles Henke 111
Well I don’t know! My husband’s father was born in Lehi, Utah … but with the name Henke you’d think so. I have a brother in law who does a lot of geneology. I’ll have to ask him. What is your father’s name? His father?
Charles
if your are the third and your dad was the second you are my cousin. Our Henke’s mostly come from Mo. with the old family story of him coming over from Germany and opening a pub with a very now famous Anhauser in Missouri. I know there were several siblings – don’t know if any went to Utah.
