Downsizing vs Bloggy Giveaways.com

carnivalbutton Downsizing my junk is soooooo overwhelming at times!     After all these years of collecting bins of craft supplies, scrap book supplies, flannel, fleece, yarm … etc. etc. etc … it is difficult to admit that I am never going to use even half of it.     I would have to do it full time for … uh … a long time … and everybody knows my attention span isn’t like that anymore.   Why fight it?

So, daughter Kim convinced me of a perfect way to lighten my bins.   Bloggygiveaways.com has a whole list of blog sites giving away free prizes.    You’ll want to check it out for sure.   Anyway … so I thought ” Why not”?     I mean just why the heck not?    My mind is already racing as to what I can package up and send off to the winner.   

Soooo, and I have no guarantee to you I have done this correctly … but … to win you must comment on this blog (and I would suggest you might just want to tell me what kinds of craft suprises you are interested in for a start).    Then you go to bloggygiveaways.com and check out the other places you can go to win prizes this week.    I will notify you if you are the lucky Grand Winner of my stuff.    Let’s hope you are if you really want it.    And if you don’t get it this time … remember … I am downsizing and there will be other prizes!

    My favorite craft supplies are great pens, markers, rubber stamps, cool paper and such because I like to make my own greeting cards
    and I love to draw and do calligraphy.
    But since you’re randomly downsizing your craft supplies,I might have to learn a new craft if I’m the lucky winner.

I love to ‘make something from nothing’ – I had a friend that used to give me odds and ends and challenge me to make something—and I usually made something saleable!   16. It’s strange the time on your blog site says 12:15 PM, but my time is 5:19 AM-here in Tucson, AZ-USA. Where is it 12:15 PM? I’ve been up all night trying to straighten out the ebay listings-I usually get duplicates when I only have one item, or carry a media rate over to a non-media item—old age is creeping up!   18. Okay, I admit I’m addicted to draft – I mean craft supplies and I have plenty of my own. But we use them around here so I’m always restocking. I love anything, but especially love different fabrics if you have anything there!!!

  20. LOL, I thought you were either giving away those things you put at the bottoms of doors to keep out drafts–or drafting supplies like pencils and rulers! Well, I sew, crochet and do scrapbooking so anything that fit into those categories would be a nice suprise. Even scraps of fabric–I can make good use of those! Thanks so much for offering this!

    I mostly knit and do paper crafts, so yarn and pretty paper are always appreciated. During the summers (when I’m at home and have access to a sewing machine), I’ve also started doing a bit of quilting.

  53. Right now I’m into kids crafts – more specifically ones that I can make for kids’ gifts. I wish I was more crafty but it seems I can make baby gifts and little kids gifts with towels. With no fabric store around us anymore that’s about as good as it gets. I love collecting supplies too!

  59. oh boy! No actually what I mean is oh, girl! I have a small pickle at home who loves to craft with her mommy- unlike her big brothers. Anything sounds great, because who doesn’t love a surprise?

I would like a surprise box, because well, I tend to take whatever is on hand and then think of something to do with it, or if I find myself in need of something, I take what items I have and make them work. I don’t really PLAN to make things…maybe that’s why I am improvising, LOL, but it usually turns out better than something I could have planned;) Thanks!

  95. I knit, crochet, do beads, and make jewelery. Hand sew also. My hands are good and are dexterous.
    Needs:
    Book that teaches how to read knitting patterns. I can do by looking at an example, but I do not know which is purl or which is knit.
    Cotton or any natural yarns. One skeins are fine. The only non-natural yarns I like and use are the thread-types. Sometimes they are known as fake furs or yarn for kid’s knitting machines.
    Beads are seed beads.
    Jewelery is semi-precious to non- precious to rare precious stones, metals, and again natural additions.
