Bits of This & That
I missed church today because of a hacking cough that I was sure wouldn’t be appreciated. I could have taken my extra strength prescription narcotic cough syrup, which is the only thing that stops it, but that didn’t didn’t seem like a good answer since it puts me to sleep and makes me drool. That might be okay in the High Priests class but it is not okay in Relief Society. Add the fact that coughing makes me pee and you can see i didn’t have a lot of choice.
This cough comes and goes at will: its will, not mine. It is caused by allergies, which is good, I suppose, since that makes me not contagious. Maybe I should have just worn a sign declaring myself germ free, but that wouldn’t have taken care of the annoyance factor. Coughs are annoying to the cougher, but are equally if not more annoying to everyone else. They are a pain in the larynx and I missed being in church today.
I’m all signed up with NaNoWriMo and have committed to writing my second novel in November. Last year’s book was titled, “Nellie, an Unheralded Angel”.
