Are you Interested in Self-Publishing?
I found a great sight for people like me who are thinking of self publishing. It is called Lulu and can be found here. It actually has a far broader spectrum than that as you can see if you click on “first time visitor” and take the tour. The costs are as good as any I’ve come across and there are so many possibilities.
It said the publishing process was simple, and I believe them, but you know me … an old dog who doesn’t learn new tricks that easy … it took me about four hours and several attempts at reloading the manuscript before I was able to get it finished. I think now that I’ve done it once I would agree that The publishing process couldn’t be easier.
The cost of putting out a paperback book is $7.79 plus shipping. Anything you charge over that goes into your own pocket. For a first time author that sounds a lot easier than sending out letters and manuscripts and waiting for your rejections in the mail.
Be sure to click on “Publish” and see all the possibilities. I am really excited to use it for some other projects I’m working on. They also have chat groups for writers according to their interests.

You never fail to impress me. I just had a quick look, and though I’m no expert I have to say it looks to me that you’re a natural! I noticed a few minor editing things, where you probably changed a phrase or word and didn’t completely delete what was there before, an easy mistake to make. I hope you don’t mind my saving it to read in full a little later on, since today’s schedule is impossible and tomorrow’s not much better. Hopefully, on the weekend, I can read this through and then I’ll go to the LULU site and write a review. (I’m not a review writer, but I’ll post what I feel.) Good luck, Edna.
Thank you! I have been editing and editing to find those little errors .. hopefully between readers and I we’ll find them all.
