Are You In A Rut or On A Path?
There is a drive down to the beach that has road base until you are fairly close. Those who have 4 wheel drive vehicles … or those who are very daring drive their cars closer. Most of them get a big run on it and go lickity split through the deep sand to where the sand is firmer because it is wetter. So the tricky part is between the road base and the wet sand. The more people drive there the deeper the ruts get. Once they hit the rut they pretty much have to stay in them until the end. They take you where they go whether you want to go there or not. If the rut is taking you to a dangerous place it is hard to get out of it and not follow. Some-times you need help.
On the other hand, if the rut is guiding you to a safe place that you need to get to, it’s good someone bigger has gone before and is leading the way.
