A Logical Savings Plan
Okay, so I found something else that would get me out of a sick bed … a 75% off sale.
On sales like this one it is preferable to focus on how much you save rather than on how much you spend. I saved $600. So, I don’t want to be greedy … but I figure I should get to keep at least half of what I saved … with no questions asked. I mean, after all, it was ME who saved it. So that would mean Lynn owe’s me $300 cash, right? He never sees it that way. He just doesn’t get it. I tried to explain it to him 40 years ago when we were first married, that if I go to a 2 for 1 shoe sale, and buy four pair of shoes, 2 for him and 2 for me. it’s like both of mine were free so I should be entitled to at least half of what we saved. I mean that’s only fair.
